The End is Near
I am very tired these days,
My body aches and my joints are weak.
I need help to get up and down,
But I am grateful for Ray's loving touch.
He helps me to lie down each night,
And makes sure I am comfortable and warm.
I think back on all the places we've been,
The adventures we've shared, and the love we've shown.
We've traveled all over the United States,
And even flown on private jets.
We've stayed in some amazing hotels,
And I've even seen Shaq play basketball.
I've met so many wonderful people along the way,
And I'm so grateful for all the love they've shown.
I've been blessed with many families,
And I'll never forget the adventures we've known.
As I close my eyes to sleep,
I dream of puppies and puppy breath.
I dream of all who love me,
And all the delights that await me.
I am so tired,
But I am also at peace.
I know that I'm loved,
And that's all that matters.
